is part of a "fire performance" group in Milledgeville called Strange Bedfellows. They frequently come to Macon to spread their love of "Flow Arts". |

Suffragists, led by Alice Paul and Lucy Burns, were called "Iron Jawed Angels" because of their unwavering, "iron" resolve in fighting for the vote while enduring brutal, forced feedings (using metal, iron-like devices to hold their jaws open) in prison after hunger strikes, combined with a derogatory nickname from opposing politicians.
